I graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in May 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sport Management and a minor in Film Studies. In addition to graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors, I was one of thirteen students to receive the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Provost Medal, an award bestowed upon students who have maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA throughout their undergrad collegiate career.

For the spring 2014 academic semester, I was one of 54 students selected to study at the Los Angeles Film Studies Center. As the first student from UMHB to be accepted to LAFSC, I found the program both challenging and exciting. The experience was invaluable and I will never forget the projects I had the opportunity to be a part of and more importantly the relationships I forged.

I am currently working to start a non-profit film workshop for POC high school students in the Houston area. My future goals include earning my MFA in Screenwriting from the University of Texas at Austin while working in the sports entertainment industry, writing/directing a Texas based feature film and moving back to Los Angeles to further pursue a career in entertainment.
